I set out to find a work around. It involves geo locating a site from google earth in sketchup and then transferring that model to rhinoceros 3d to create a nurbs surface 3d model of the chosen site. In the past i remember people using programs like 3d ripper that would capture the geometry directly from opengl i actually tried it once but without any luck. Basically i would like to manage and modify georeferenced 3d data from google earth and google map within qgis or archicad as mesh or raster formats.
